What is Starless Summer?
Starless Summer is an online, annual event that happens over the summer. We are advertised strictly by our members. Click here for the topic explaining exactly what Starless Summer is.
How do I join? Do I have to have friends here to join?
Click here. You do not have to have friends here to join, although we'll have to question how you found us if you don't! Regardless, we strongly encourage you to join and make new friends.
What kind of events there will be?
We will be doing our best to appeal to everyone. There were will be casual events and competitive events. In order to compete in the competitive ones, you must have a group, but you are not required to have a group for the casual events. You will find events that are creative-based, such as art contests, but you will also find events that are memory-based, such as Guessing the TV Show. As a user, you have the right to apply to make a new event of any kind, so there's really no limit.

Do I have to stay up all night?
No, but we encourage you to do so!
I live in [timezone]. When will the event be for me?
We haven't decided times yet, but the timezone for the board is in Eastern Standard Time (EST). For some people, the event may not be as fun because it's already morning/daytime for them. We apologize for this!
Do I have to be in a group?
Yes, you have to be in a group, but you do not have to participate in group discussions and such.
Do I need to be able to write/draw?
Absolutely not. You are not required to be able to "do" anything. We will do our best to include events that cater to as many skills as possible. If this means a math competition, so be it!
How can I advertise [ Starless Summer ]?
Starless Summer is to be passed around by its members only via word of mouth. You can tell your friends, post on a dA journal, post on a tumblr blog, etc.
How can I advertise [ my site ]?
Starless Summer is willing to affiliate itself with other sites. You may also put a link in your signature.
Why did you name it Starless Summer?
It was supposed to be named Sleepless Summer, but I wasn't paying attention and instead typed Starless, and it costs money to change it! We're thinking about changing it anyway, though.
