What is this?

Starless Summer is an online, annual event that takes place during the summer, likely in the months of June or August. Starless Summer is a competitive event that is essentially an all-night party for anyone who's willing to come. This is an event that has happened before between two closed groups, but no longer -- now, it is open to anyone who would like to participate. However, it is something that will be passed around via word of mouth, so tell your friends if you think it sounds interesting!

Most of the games, or "events", we'll be playing will be competitive. Everyone who joins will be put into one of 3 teams, Sun, Moon, and Stars, and you cannot participate if you are not in one of these teams. By winning a game, or a part of a game, your team will get a certain amount of points that will factor to a total score. There will be little ways to get points besides games, as well, such as hosting one such game/event or helping us set things up. At the end of the night, I, as the host, will announce the winner, the runner up and the loser. This is for the sheer fun of it, nothing more and nothing less.

Most events will be games, but some will be simple things like watching people draw through join.me or contests. Some will just be silly things, like to talk like Shakespeare for half an hour. Since this is an all-night event, we will provide everything we can to help everyone stay up the entire night: this includes, but is not limited to, a music playlist and a guide to staying up all night.

This event has been planned & put together by a group of friends and is a place for us to enjoy ourselves with our friends and friends of friends! Anyone is welcome to join, however.
